It is a great choice for any kind of holiday maker including couples, families and groups of friends as it's located in the heart of the Kalamaki resort but also very close to other well known tourist resorts. All amenities being very close to hand such as cash machines, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery, taxi rank, shops, restaurants and much more. The famous beautiful beach of Kalamaki is longer than a 10 minute walk away (approximately 700m), is certainly a great asset too. The main town of Zakynthos and its harbour is only 5 Km away and the airport of Zakynthos (Dionisios Solomos) is only 3 Km away. Sofia's complex consists of four separate buildings set between its gardens and swimming pool with 50 rooms which all have their own balconies. The establishment also features a sports & entertainment Bar as well as a supermarket. The Hotel was first established back in 1986 with it's first 20 studios. Over the years the complex gradually grew and now has 50 self catering rooms. In the last few years Sofia's has managed to grow in all departments by expanding the number of rooms but to also create a totally new bar and reception building as well as renovate its supermarket in order to be able to provide and at the same time extend it's facilities to the guests.
