It was a short stay for 5 nights but an unforgettable experience for a life time. First the hotel's location gave me easy acces (on foot) to very interesting spots in the city especially the shopping areas.

The hotel service was without any doubt excellent and each time I meet a staff there always the smile and friendly greeting.

Thank you so much and I would most definate reccommend and return for all my visits to Toronto.

For just a little over $100 a night (taxes included), I found Sutton Place to be a good value. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice widescreen TV, and check in and check out was smooth. I had a very restful two nights sleep there. The location -- just a block's walk to a subway station -- is great if want to navigate the city on the cheap (just purchase a $9 day pass).

But the amenities were limited to (very) basic cable, a hair dryer, two bars of hand soap, two mini shampoo bottles, an iron & ironing board, and a drip coffeemaker with two packs of coffee. EVERYTHING else was extra. Paking (which I'd wager is Toronto's major industry) is $25 a night. Want internet? Try connecting to their wireless network and a message pops up letting you know that it's $16.50 (per 24 hours) to continue. And of course it's extra if you want to see anything GOOD on the nice TV..

Parking wasn't a problem for me, thanks to some accomodating local residentsI know. And instead of giving in on the wireless, I availed myself of the excellent selection of web cafes within a two block walk, which offer everything from a cheap, solid Windows kiosk in a no-frills evvironment to wireless in a chic cafe with with all kinds of fancy coffee and treats.

So I was able to avert the extra charges without too much inconvenience. If you put a premium on clean facilities in a great location and can similarly abstain from the overpriced extras, then the deal I got should be a solid value for you (if it's still available).

This is a terrific hotel -- big rooms, well planned out, and very very clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. There are NO in room mini-fridges, and the parking is VERY VERY expensive (2.5 days - $70)!! I'd park somewhere else, and definitely stay here again (especially for the special event at the neighbouring Church Street area.)

The hotel was great. The only complaint is that they charged $57/week for internet and they only allowed one computer to connect to it. The $57/week charge had to be paid again for each additional computer.

The hotel was really lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I had one disappointment in that there was not a kettle in my room which made it seem like you only cater for coffee drinkers and not tea drinkers like me! I requested a kettle and one was brought to my room, but there were dark sediments in the kettle which meant that every time the kettle was boiled there were dark bits in my tea.

The reviews I saw prior to booking this hotel were less favourable however, I found the whole expereince of staying there enjoying. Non of the negative reviews posted on Travel Advisor applied in my experience. The rooms were clean and luxurious. Staff were friendly and yet professional, very helpful service. Location was perfect for our visit. I will definitely stay there again.
