Grand Copthorne Waterfront

The Waterfront is so named because it is on the banks of the Singapore River, although upstream from the popular Boat, Clarke and Robertson Quays. It is still within walking distance (20mins) to Robertson Quay, Chinatown can be reached in 5 mins by taxi. Great World City shopping Center is within 5 mins walk from the hotel.
Away from the bustle of the city but close enough to visit. It is also within walking distance to Great World Shopping Center. There is a River Taxi stop at the hotel, which is a great alternative transport to Clarke Quay or Boat Quay. Hotel provides regular shuttle bus service to Orchard Road.

The hotel is yellow and green and is the flagship hotel of the Copthorne chain in Singapore.
A large cul de sac driveway to the large lobby. The reception is off to one side whilst the cafe is facing the main entrance overlooking the river. Modern with light wood panelling and large pillars for grandeur.
Cafe Brio's where breakfast is served, serves Asian and Continental cuisine for lunch and dinner. Pontini has a modern and contemporary setting, offering Italian specialties. Grand Shanghai located in the building next to the hotel, offers Chinese food in the setting of Shanghai in 1940.
The spacious Superior Plus rooms feature city or river views. One side of the rooms faces the river although it is not the prettiest part of the river and overlooks some warehouses. Rooms have a contemporary design with beech colour furniture and pastel colour upholstery. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The marble bathroom has separate bath and shower.
1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 10 km to the nearest station (tanjong pagar), 15 kms to the nearest airport (changi), 2 km to the nearest fair site (suntec convention centre), 20 minute walk to the nearest metro station (outram park).
