The hotel stands out on it own amongst the shophouses but further in the background are the skyscrapers of the business district. Connected to the building is a shopping mall called the Amara shopping centre.

Hue Restobar is a Vietnamese restaurant and bar cum wine & cigar retail outlet, the restaurant and bar are located on the upper deck while the wine and cigar bar occupies the lower deck. Cafe Oriental with 1950s Chinese coffeeshop decor serves original Singaporean cuisine and it never closed.
