Located in the Financial District a couple of blocks from Union Square. There is cable car stop outside the hotel.
The hotel is only a short walk to Union Square, the San Francisco neighborhood that has become a mecca for high end shopping and art galleries. One guest must be at least 21 years of age in order to reserve and check in. Historic 17-story 1926 building with a Neo Renaissance look. All 362 rooms have luxurious furnishings, plush beds, Chinese marble vanities in every bath, expansive ceilings and beautiful crown molding, all accented with 1920s and 1930s decor. Beautiful medium sized lobby with large chandeliers, sweeping staircase, lots of marble and wood, very elegant and intimate. The on-site restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 22 kms to the nearest airport (san francisco). |
