Melantrich is a 3 star hotel in Prague.
Built in 2001, this hotel comprises a total of 24 rooms spread over 4 floors of which 2 are single rooms, 21 are double rooms and 1 is an apartments.
Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a souvenir shop. Finally, a laundry service rounds off the facilities on offer.
I would recommend this hotel to vistors of Prague. The old town is just steps away from the front door. The U-bahn (subway) is also very close. The neighborhood is full of shops and eateries. There is even an open market selling produce and goodies right next to the hotel.
The hotel is secure and you have to buzz into the front desk to enter but had no problems. The rooms are ok size. Beds are small and not the best in comfort but were fine for our stay. Breakfast was so-so. Sausages and one other warm item plus meat and cheese with breads were the norm. Yogurt and cereal but no milk and trays of olives and other odd breakfast items were also available.
No safe in room. No laundry as stated in writeup. Nice simple place for budget travelers.

I would recommend the hotel to everyone, because it is very central, it could not be better. The hotel is silent, the service is good. The rooms are well suited and clean, Beds could have been more comfortable, but though ok.
