We didn't get a chance to use the pool area or other amenities but they looked really nice. The front desk staff were very helpful with all of our needs, even in the middle of the night. The breakfast was sufficient for what we needed. The shuttle schedule to Disneyworld was a bit too far apart for what we needed so we ended up driving but the directions from the excursions desk were great. Only a few minute drive and we were there.
Having a fridge and microwave in the room was great! We would highly recommend this hotel!!!

STAFF WERE PLEASANT BUT NOT HELPFUL. HAD TROUBLE TAKING LUGGAGE TO CAR AND RECEIVED INDIFFERENT RESPONSE. NO OFFER TO HELP OR LUGGAGE CART AVAILABLE. HAD TO HAUL LUGGAGE DOWN ELEVATOR IN MULTIPLE TRIPS WITH AN INJURED BACK. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST AEDEQUATE BUT RAN OUT OF ITEMS AS WEEK WORE ON. WOULD TRY ANOTHER HOTEL NEXT TIME

I was very disappointed in my stay at the Country Inns and Suites at Calypso Cay. We had booked a non-smoking 2 queen bed room for our stay. We require non-smoking because of allergies and asthma with our children. When we arrived at the hotel all that they had for us was a King room with pull-out sofa that was also a smoking room. After complaining several times the next morning after being up almost all night, we were finally switched into a non-smoking king room with the pull-out sofa. The strange thing was that I had even called the hotel almost a week before to make sure that my reservation was guaranteed and to make sure that I had the correct room type. The breakfast area was horrible...nowhere to sit for a large hotel like this. The front desk staff was not very courteous at all. They kept saying that there was nothing that they could do.

Very Good value. Rooms large, well furnished & clean. Breakfast buffet good- fresh fruit as well as cereals muffins etc. Expectations met & probably exceeded.
