The hotel has a great location just five minutes walk from the fashionable restaurants and shops of Southbank Promenade and less than ten minutes walk from Melbourne's city centre. You'll find the Botanic gardens, the National Gallery and the casino within walking distance. ** PLEASE NOTE: the swimming pool is closing commencing 05 May 08 - 19 May 08 (approximately). It is essential work that involves draining the pool entirely and doing a thorough clean inside and out. The Pool is situated on the 15th Floor and therefore will not cause any inconvenience to any of the guests within the hotel. Hotel is new therefore all rooms are very fresh. The lobby has a comtempory feel and is of medium size with a sofa. There is no restaurant on site however guest are able to go to at the Vibe Savoy hotel (sister hotel) restaurant located approximatelly 3 blocks from the hotel. 1 km to the nearest station (southern cross station), 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 15 km to the nearest fair site (exhibition & convention centre), 30 kms to the nearest airport (tullamarine). |
