Britannia Country House

The hotel is a twenty five minute drive from Manchester city centre, and fifteen minutes from the airport.
The hotel has a leisure centre, with heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, steam room, fully equipped gymnasium and beauty salon.
The original building is a traditional Country House, with an added extension built in recent years. It is set in its own grounds, surrounded by two golf courses and open fields.
The bedrooms are medium in size, en-suite and have full facilities. They are tastefully decorated, although the furnishings are a little on the dark side.
The lobby is small in size, with a seating area and the decor is that which is normally associated with a traditional Country House style.
There are two restaurants in the hotel; Jenny's which serves traditional a la Carte and table d'hote English cuisine, as well as a carvery. The Pizzeria Restaurant offers a wide variety of pizzas and pastas in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
