Royal Mulu Resort Miri

The Royal Mulu Resort is located on the banks of the Melinau River in the Baram district in the state of Sarawak, in the midst of breathtaking, natural splendour and near the Gunung Mulu National Park, home of lush rainforest and some of the most amazing cave systems in the world. And although it may seem you are in the middle of tranquility, the city of Brunei is closeby and the nearest large settlements are Marudi and Miri.

Designed in the style of ethnic longhouses, the resort, which has 188 tastefully designed rooms, is built on wooden stilts, three metres above the ground and is linked by a series of wooden walkways. Every room enjoys a spacious veranda, which offers guests a stunning view of either the rich surrounding jungle or the Melinau River.

Guests can relax after enjoying a day’s adventures with one of the many treatments available at the hotel spa. There is also an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and badminton is also an option if you’re feeling energetic.
