The hotel is located in the heart of the new city, just a few minutes from Taksim Square in an elevated position with views of the Bosphorus.
This hotel was the first deluxe property to be opened in Turkey in the 1960s. However, it has undergone extensive renovations and upgrading and now rivals and any of the newer properties in the city.
This is a modern, low-rise building set away from the main road. The principal building is set in beautiful landscaped gardens. There is a reasonably sized outside swimming pool with sunbathing decks and poolside bar plus tennis courts within the grounds.
The hotel has several outlets, with the main restaurant situated on the ground floor. An excellent buffet selection is served as well as an extensive a la carte menu. The hotel offers a la carte dining in the summer months.
The medium-sized lobby is elegant and fairly traditional in style. The walls and flooring are light marble, leading through to a large open bar area and terrace to the rear.
The rooms, with park view are large and kept in very good condition with tasteful decoration. The marbled bathrooms are in excellent condition, as are the bedrooms. All bedrooms have their own private balcony - a unique feature in the city.
