Sonne Hotel

The hotel is located about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Interlaken in the peaceful suburb of Matten, next to the main road leading up to Grindelwald.

The hotel restaurant is located next to the lobby. It has a window the full length of the front of the building overlooking the street. The decor is simple and rustic with heavy wooden tables and chairs. The restaurant is also very popular with the locals.
The lobby is small, with a pale wooden reception desk and a small seating area.
The rooms have benefitted from a light refurbishment in the last year. Most rooms have wooden floors and are decorated in light and bright colours. The rooms vary in size, but, on average, are medium in size, some rooms have balconies. Both the rooms and bathrooms are in good condition.
