Ava Hotel

Hotel is located in Helsinki district called Vallila, just 3km from the city centre. It is in easy reach by trams and buses to city centre and close to Helsinki fair center.
This is a very nicely kept basic hotel that is suitable for all travellers offering good standard accommodation, friendly staff and within easy reach to city centre and airport. Hotel open times are 07:30-22:00 Monday-Sunday, outside of these times guests must call hotel in advance to arrange check-in.
This is a former block of flats that has been converted to hotel. It is white concrete building.
Hotel open times are 07:30-22:00 Monday-Sunday, outside of these times guests must use the second entrance next to the main door. On the wall you will find a gate phone and under that a black button, press the button to contact security. Security will open the door for you and give you the code to key-box which you will find inside (on left hand side of the door). In the key-box you will find an envelope with your name on it with your room key inside.
Lobby is small with a small seating area.
Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable and in good condition. Bathrooms are fairly small in size but again clean and in good condition.
There is no restaurant at the hotel, just a breakfast room.
1 km to the nearest fair site (helsinki fair centre), 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (sornainen), 18 kms to the nearest airport (helsinki-vantaa), 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 3 km to the nearest station (helsinki), 3 kms to city centre.
