Auteuil Hotel

The Auteuil Manotel is one of those hidden jewel hotels that once discovered, won't be able to be kept quiet for long. It was closed for 6 months last year for a complete renovation, and the transformation now revealed is stunning. This is now a stylish four star property, with a design focused on luxury and clean lines. The minimalist touch is there throughout, but there is no compromise on comfort.

Located on the rue Lausanne, only a few steps from the main Cornavin station and the lake, the Auteuil has an ideal location in the centre of Geneva. Step through the glass fronted lobby into a cosy but serene lounge, with soft square leather sofas, white drapes and inviting pale carpets.

The rooms are inviting, cosy and elegant, decorated in neutral shades set off with a deep burnished gold and contrasting the dark wood furniture and crisp white linen. Stylish black and white photos of Geneva's monuments caught at unusual angles adorn the walls, and extra features like the anglepoise reading light, complimentary mineral water, bedtime chocolates and fruit bowl all combine to show how thoughtful this hotel is regarding its guests needs. En suite bathrooms don't compromise on style either, set off by unusual ceramic basins, chic minimalist accessories combined with elegant dazzling white walls.

The Auteuil's buffet breakfast is served in a delightful cafe style room on the ground floor. The area is so light and bright, as the glass atrium roof allows the sunlight to flood in, and bounce off the highly polished floors. A full range of breakfast foods is served, with hot and cold food and a range of beverages. Breakfast is served daily from 6am to 10.30am. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but guests may enjoy the bistro at the next door sister hotel, the Royal Manotel. Guests may also use the Royal's fitness facilities free of charge.
