The hotel is very centrally located on the main road that leads from the station to the Duomo, and is within walking distance of all the major historical sites.

This is a traditional Florentine building dating from the sixteenth century, and used to belong to the Medici family.
The bedrooms are different in size and furnished in a traditional style. Rooms have 'cotto' floor and cream walls. Some of them have a canopy at the head of the bed.
The lobby is very small, decorated with terracotta tiles and wooden furniture and is located on the ground floor. The sitting area is pleasantly decorated, part of the rooms have brick walls giving a rustic atmosphere. The sitting area also has a 'cotto' floor and carpets with easy-chairs and wooden tables.
There is only a breakfast room available.
4 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 5 kms to the nearest airport (peretola), Close to the station (s. m. novella - 400m), Close to the trade fair ground (palazzo congressi).
