This charming "Boutique Hotel" is located in the heart of the historic center of Florence surrounded by monuments, churches and buildings of extraordinary beauty. Hotel Cellai is very close to the San Lorenzo Market and the Galleria dell'Accademia hosting the famous David by Michelangelo, as is the Duomo with its splendid dome by Brunelleschi. This is one of the best 3 star superior "Boutique Hotel" in Florence which offers convenient location and excellent quality of services: complimentary afternoon tea/coffee little buffet is served in the charming winter garden; bicycles at disposal of Hotel Guests; free internet access. AC 0711. This is a traditional florentine building in liberty style. All the rooms are extremely comfortable, equipped with warm and precious materials and personalized with authentic antiques expertly chosen one by one in the many markets of Tuscany. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, direct telephone, satellite color TV, minibar, private bathroom. The breakfast room is very large in size and tastefully decorated. The lobby is totally decorated with antiques with elegant and unique taste. As of July 2011 Florence is introducing a new city tax to be paid by the guest to the hotel directly prior to their departure. Notre chambre (219) était superbe. La douche était très grande, ainsi que la salle de bains. Les chambres n'étaient pas toutes pareilles, certaines avaient une petite salle de bains. Il y a une terrasse sympa sur le toit. En face de l'hôtel il y a un magasin qui est ouvert jusqu'à 23h. Ici on peut acheter des boissons par exemple. On peut prendre du café et du thé gratuitement à l'hôtel, mais le thé avait le même gout que le café...Le petit déjeuner n'était vraiment pas bon, le pain n'était pas assez cuit. Nous y étions pendant 5 jours et nous avons mangés du fromage, du jambon et la confiture comme garniture. L'hôtel en général est très sympa. L'intérieur est chaleureux. Il y a un marché pas loin tous les jours. Le seul point négatif c'est le petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont propres et le personnel est très gentil.
