The hotel is located in the very historical centre of Florence, close to all main monuments and the Congress Palace garage service, parking service and very close to the bus line. This information taken from the hotel Web site. DO 04. 2008. This is an actual Florentine palace built in 1500, the former home home of Pitti. It was changed into a hotel in 1800. All rooms have air conditioning, mini-bar, radio, colour TV, and all modern comforts. The hotel offers no restaurant. The lobby is in keeping with the remainder of hotel. 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 5 kms to the nearest airport (peretola), Close to the station (santa maria novella).

As of July 2011 Florence is introducing a new city tax to be paid by the guest to the hotel directly prior to their departure. This will be charged up to a maximum of 10 days, per person per day (excluding children under 10 years old). The tax rate ranges from € 1.00 per day for a 1 star hotel to € 5.00 per day for 5 star hotels.
