The hotel is located just 8 miles from the Yosemite National Park entrance, this Sierra Nevada Mountain lodge offers a handy base for outdoor adventures. The hotel has a scenic setting on the banks of the tumbling Merced River, the cedar-built lodge is popular for vacations and celebrations. IR2:04. Medium size lobby. The hotel offers 211 rooms in a gorgeous mountain setting along the Merced River. Some rooms have refridgerators and balconies. The hotel restaurant is surrounded by exposed wood beams and photography of Yosemite's natural wonders, diners enjoy a breakfast buffet and dinner featuring fresh Merced River trout, along with steak and pasta. A loft allows for more intimate dining. 83 kms to the nearest airport (merced regional).

- Good ratio quality/price compared to other hotels, taking into account the location. It takes 15 minutes to enter Yosemite NP and another 15 min to reach Yosemite Village. - Food in the restaurant is OK for short duration - Breakfeast is american or fruit buffet, and comes on top of the price of the room :( - No internet in the room - Rooms have air conditioning but it is noisy. Leave it on when you are away and switch it off when you are back.
