This is a pleasant family run hotel. It is basic with regard to its furnishing and decor but good value and away from the hustle and bustle of central Edinburgh.

The hotel reception is only open until 22:00. Guests arriving after this time please contact the hotel to gain entry code for the building.
There is just a small breakfast room located on the ground floor.
This lodge house is over 100 years old, yet is equipped with many modern facilities; tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television; all rooms are ensuite. The rooms are basic but clean in decor in keeping with the rest of the property.
