Promenade City Hotel

As central as you could wish to be in Budapest, the promenade hotel is situated right on the Vaci Utca, the main pedestrianised tourist street in the city. Guests can walk out of the hotel and have a huge choice of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from as well a one minute walk to the Danube river. It is also close to the subway and trams stations.
An ideal place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the city within walking distance of the River Danube and many of the city's best tourist attractions. A really good 3* hotel.
An attractive historical building that is six storeys tall and has a mixture of large square and arched shape windows.
The lobby is small with a modern stylish reception desk immediately in front of you as you enter and chairs and long sofa seating either side of the entrance. It is a minimalst yet stylish and welcoming entrance to the hotel.
There is no restaurant in the hotel although the promenade is surrounded by good cafes and restaurants. On the top floor there is a medium size breakfast room.
These are top class 3* rooms, modern in style with smart minimalist decor and en-suite bath rooms all with small baths and showers in the bath. Each room has air conditioning, hair dryer, minibar, telephone and statellite TV as well as internet connection and a laptop safe. Non smoking rooms ara available too.
