Novotel Congress

The hotel stands in the middle of a large leafy park in the business centre of the Buda 'green belt'. The city centre is only a 10 minute drive away or a 10 minute tube ride. The nearest metro is Deli Palyaudvar. The hotel also has easy access to the main highway that links Budapest to Vienna.
This is not right in the heart of the city but it is in the picturesque Buda side of the Danube with good transport links to the centre and offers very good 4* accommodation.
This is a modern 9 story glass constructed building, directly linked to the city's convention center.
On the lower ground level is the exclusive Karolina restaurant serving traditional and international cuisine to the sounds of gypsy music. There is also a more informal brasserie style diner on the same level.
The lobby is large with slightly old-fashioned dark wooden furniture, a bright glass entrance and plenty of seating areas. The split level design of the public areas means that the bar is on a lower half landing, down a couple of steps and there is also an outdoor terrace leading on from this.
The rooms are furnished with a large double bed and a single sofa bed. The rooms are long and medium-sized, and they are of a good standard. The color scheme is pale with pastel soft furnishings in a similar style to the normal Novotel product.
