Built over 100 years ago, this historical building has been renovated throughout. The island is restricted, so there is no through traffic in front or near the hotel, making this a quiet place to stay.
All the restaurants are on the ground floor. There is a brasserie with an outdoor terrace and the 'Szechenyi' serves local and international cuisine. The food is of a very high quality.
Rooms are large and in very good condition. They are impressively furnished with antiques, classical paintings and elegant decor lending a timeless atmosphere. The bathrooms are medium in size and adequate. All rooms have telephone, internet access and satellite TV.
The lobby is large and quite grand, with impressive antique furniture, traditional decor and a lounge area where drinks and snacks are served. There are also a couple of gift shops selling hand crafted Hungarian goods.
