Nomads Fat Camel

Located on Fort street, in the centre of the city. Two city blocks from the waterfront area of the city and a 2 minute walk to Queen street.
This is a great Backpackers in a very central location. Luggage storage facilities, personal safes, laundry with dryers and 24 hour reception. There is always plenty going on here and makes an ideal base for those at the start of their trip around New Zealand or those exploring Auckland. SE1008.

The standard room has a double bed. The rooms are quite small but they are in good condition. Triple and quad options are in four bed dormitories for own use. The bathrooms are shared. There are 10 fully equipped communal kitchens within the building, even so at peak times they can get busy.
This is the Fat Camel cafe and bar with plenty of activities such as quiz nights and also some meal options. This is a great place to meet other travellers and make friends, swap handy hints, or stories of travels.
1 km to the nearest fair site (skycity convention centre), 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 30 kms to the nearest airport (auckland), 5 km to the nearest beach, Close to the station (britomart).
