This hotel has an excellent location in the centre of Amsterdam, and, as the name suggests, is close to the Museumplein with its remarkable Rijks Museum as well as Van Gogh museum.

This is a modern, purpose built hotel.
The bedrooms are medium to large in size and are in excellent condition with wooden furniture and a terra cotta/lemon colour scheme. They all have a iron and ironing board as well as the usual facilities expected of a good 4 star hotel. The bathrooms are also in excellent condition with black slate floors and black, white and even wood furnishings.
The breakfast room is served on a split level to the reception area. This is a large room offering communal and bar tables as well as regular tables. It has a bright decor and a smoking and non-smoking section and offers a very varied choice of hot buffet items. The large bar area, which is located on the upper split level, serves a light menu available for lunch and dinner and in the summer, there is a small patio.
The lobby is medium in size with marble floor and modern furniture in bright blue and yellow. The area is split level (accessible by ramp as well as stairs) and leads to the hotel bar and more seating.
