Hilton Amsterdam

This hotel is ideally located on one of the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam, in one of the most sought after areas with its trendy boutiques and restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the Museumplein and Leidseplein and is also only 5 minutes by tram from the Leidseplein and 15 minutes by tram to Central Station. Numerous trams are available from near the hotel.
This is an excellent hotel in a lovely location, not right in the heart of Amsterdam but on one of the most beautiful canals and in one of the most prestigious parts of town, and still within walking distance of most tourist attractions. The service level in this hotel is also second to none.

The hotel is an imposing, large, modern style purpose-built block.
The Italian restaurant has a deservably excellent reputation, and the tiramisu is especially recommended. There is also a cosy British bar which is situated at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden and canal which is very popular with locals as well as residents with its open fireplace and commanding views of the canal, and which serves bar snacks.
The lobby area is large and very modern and decorated in Italian style with marble flooring and fashionable furniture and works of art. It exudes luxury and is a very impressive hotel lobby, with a boutique and Italian coffee shop also located here.
The medium sized bedrooms are typical Hilton style with two double beds in each twin room. All the rooms were renovated in 2001 with modern furnishings in Italian style and strong, contrasting colours. The white tiled bathrooms are also in very good condition and the rooms offer all the facilities and the high standards that one would expect from a 5 star Hilton hotel.
10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (wtc station), 14 kms to the airport (schiphol), 2 km to the nearest station (wtc station), 2 kms to city centre, 3 km to the nearest fair site (rai/wtc), 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 66 kms to the airport (rotterdam).
