Choiseul

On the outskirts of the town of Amboise, Le Choiseul is composed of three residences (18th century) whose rooms have a view over the gardens and the Loire. Historically, Château d'Amboise is one of the most important of the great Loire châteaux. Le Choiseul is just a five-minute walk from Château d'Amboise, and Le Clos Luce, where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last three years of his life, is just a ten-minute walk away from the hotel. The beautiful Château de Chenonceau that spans the River Cher is just seven miles away, Château de Chaumont, overlooking the river Loire is within 15 minutes of the hotel, while Château de Blois with its diverse architectural styles, is a 30-minute drive. Numerous other chateaux are within easy access including Château de Chambord, Château of Cheverny and Château de Willandry.
